The current review ratings are not fair, just like all review ratings before them. This time they're going to be worse.

I'm not going to sugar coat anything like everyone else. I went through it, and I got terminated. Expect to be fed to the Lions by your peers. Expect your boss and everyone else around you to pretend like everything is OK.

If you have any sort of gut feeling things are not what they're supposed to be, I recommend you start looking for a job right away. I wish I would have. We live in a real world, unfortunately not an ideal world. Eat or be eaten. If you're an introvert and soft spoken, you're done.

The loud mouth and the people who s--- up to the bosses are safe. I love names people who are of this nature but if you've worked at Qualcomm one enough you already know who they are. " why wait to terminate"?

Most of manager and above are idiots with no technical expertise. they don't know how to talk , how to lead , how to delegate.

there is no concept of emporing employees.

typical indian lead will like to keep high profile work under him to show he/she working. this is just to get more bonus.

Performance is based on how friendly you are with your boss. The type and complexity of work you do does not matter. If you do a lot of work that is equivalent to printing 'hello world' and make it visible, you will be well received by your boss and upper management.
