I would rather my store close than bankruptcy. At least if my store closes I get a severence package with bankruptcy I get nothing.

It be a dream of a life time if the company went bankrupt and finally spending a holiday in ease and with family, however never going to happen November/December is the best 2 months for retail no way they would go bankrupt they would do whatever it takes to pull it off through January than they would bankrupt since its pretty much done.

Spend the holidays with family, get unemployment, pull the bandaid off, any one of these things. Last year all the work every one did was rewarded by taking away the employee discount in January. That plus cutting hours to try to make quarterly financials look good.

Maybe they'd just like to spend the holidays with their family for a change.

Maybe this person does work there and is hoping to get unemployment.

Why would you want to see people lose jobs? Seems a bit mean to me OP.

Me too but I foresee them going into at least January 2018. Just guessing but the holiday season is a good time to sell off merchandise.
