As you know, "market teams" (district managers) went through a shake up. That means all of these new rules and ways of doin things to get used to. Our new market leader wants all of the freight out, STAT, no exceptions, the store looking like a front page of a designer magazine but won't allow the hours. Two people in softlines is the norm, sometimes payroll allows for only one. Then wants a freaking inspection of the store every HOUR, on top of the emails about SYW, credit, PAs, KYM, feedbacks, even Web to Store and store to home sales transactions. If it is a metric, she wants updates. There's godd-nmed 97 gazillion metrics. Oh yeah, we (leads and managers) will be spending 15-25 minutes every HOUR to conduct an inspection.
Where do these people come from? Why do they hire people for these positions who have never worked a day in the store? They are so of touch it is ridiculous. Want this done, want that done, but no hours for you! No help either! We just sit in an office somewhere and come up with crazy s---.
This one touch crap, what a crock of bull, we are a month in and it is already a disaster. POGs and typicals went out the window. Freight has to be worked between 1-2 cashiers most days (remember, some stores combined positions, so there are no standalone MCAs! Wonder-freaking-ful!).
Crap is crammed full on the floor because this godd-mned s--t cannot get stocked away, even the holiday/winter crap. People are still buying flip flops, sunglasses and air conditioners for chrissakes!!!!!
Yeah, like hell I'm mad, this micromanaging s--t and this crap of the super unrealistic expectations has got to stop. Work a week in our d--ned shoes! Get off your a--es (and get your head out of your a--es!) and maybe come on down to the stores you supposedly "oversee" and see how "well" everything is working out for once. Show up unannounced so you can see the real show in action, instead of through facetime and pictures you want us to send.
