Flannery's Skillset

Flannery knows how to restructure. That's his core skillset. So, expect an endless wave of organizational tremors, moves and shake ups. That's what he does the best and what he enjoys doing - once all is done there will be a lot of tears and sorrow across the org. Brace yourself.

Sounds like Flannery is standard GE business practice of constant reorg and layoff and reorg and layoff. Only a little more aggressive than previous leaders. GE underestimates the power of its people. The GE employees can make or break GE. The current low morale is driving current and former employees to break GE. Not the employees fault, it's the constant reorg and layoff culture the leaders love that will continue to break GE.
