People who were making plans based on being told "no more layoffs this year" were lied to.
The layoffs don't just "s---". It's a major life event. SMH. I'm constantly amazed at the lack of empathy and just common sense here sometimes. I think this is a way to raise morale .. The email information about improving benefits. Because let's face it Humana has really messed that up for associates who are left. In my humble opinion they need to do more. They have really lost trust and when that is broken promising a couple more days a year is not going to cut it.
Ok, the layoffs s---, but how were you lied to? If you were lied to, please consult a lawyer to protect your rights.

Other people still work for hunana, who have a right to know the changes. It wasn't insensitive, it is reality, with the over 20,000 that are still employed who may need the info prior to October 30
