Dropping Like Flies, What I hear!

I think all theCULTure change is working. I understand an alarming number of employees have been resigning in the last few weeks, any truth to this? Also hear that HR is freaking out & trying to keep this quiet, or are they? Maybe this was all part of the plan to reduce the numbers......

My idea of team building is to see everyone on the executive team take 50% pay cut for starters and then cap their total pay package at 10 times the average pay of those in operations.

What you have heard is true, 7 field employees in South Texas have quit in the last few weeks alone. Any news in other field offices?

It sounds worse than Chevron, and I thought that pace was crazy.

I think this is a legitimate idea. The culture training is driving everyone mad. It feels like being back in kindergarten, except it's grown humans clapping and cheering about appreciation. It seems like 1/5 love it (or are good at pretending) and everyone else laughs and mocks it. They hired a bunch of drones in leadership to shove it down everyone's throats. They put up signs that say "be here now", and "energy." Currently applying like crazy to get out before I lose it.

When is not a good time to work in EHS, point out everyone's problems, but never bringing a viable solution to the table. Morale - great if you like to spend your time going to meeting after meeting, watch videos of grown men & women ring Cow bells, team building challenges, pretend that the ideas mgmt has come up with are good & will make a difference + endless paperwork & dealing with SAP, ISN, Supply chain, supplier quality, to get anything done ...while vendors and contract employees are performing the work in the field with limited support or supervision from company employees.

Great place to work! You can over come anything safety man if you can just manage to raise your mood elevator to Curious. Call Dover &Otis elevators both my elevator is stuck in the curve of an Eagleford well.
