Thank you Honeywell. After my RIF, I was left with no job, diagnosed with cancer, and now my home is on the path of a hurricane - all within 7 days. I hope your can sleep at night dear manager who chose to save his long time buddies instead of actually following the guidance provided by HR.

I am terribly sorry to hear of your troubles. Try not to succomb to hopelessness. However it is that your life unfolds, remember that you are not alone. There are people who care about you and there is a God who is present and loves you even when the people around might fail you.
