Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Impacted, but not disappointed

Citrix provided great work flexibility and compensation...but, way too much turnover in the leadership team, very ineffective HR (that's not unusual), and not a healthy environment for most...

Beyond the above positives, it is telling when the best thing you can say about a company is that you will miss their treadmills! Nice day for a run outside anyway!

Job loss isn't life loss - Puerto Rico, Las Vegas, there are bigger issues in this world than losing a job from a company that doesn't have its act together...

I will pray for the job impacted and the survivors...ongoing employment at Citrix - Yuck!

Hmm.... I wonder if praying for someone EVER actually did any good...

@ero 1 broker member, 1 sys2, 1 architect, 1 hdx guy, 1 scm guy, 1 pm and localisation team are pretty much all that’s left

@qvj - as I understand it, the engineers left in Chalfont are folks who designed XD; I wouldn't worry about them being used as tech support.

I feel pretty sorry for those left in Engineering in the Chalfont office, they will be used and abused as glorified tech support. The offers of remote working/relocate to Cambridge/relocate to FTL/ stay put in a wasteland don’t seem too promising in the long run either.
