What is sad this is what all the foundry’s are doing. Printing money on paid off and depreciated tools and doing enhancements and making a ton of money.
Even if PTD could put aside its arrogance to enhance old technology they have nobody to spare as everyone is desperately trying to fix the FUBAR and if they did no factory nor tools.
Pretty much a busted business model for the next ten years
even if that's the case when putting into production, the margin becomes ~10x, 1/2, then at the time of production, it becomes 10% better perf., 10% less power. great power point sales talks.
