Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Why isn’t anyone posting about store closings?

I know Oxmore in Louisville is closing. It didn’t even make the local news. People really don’t care about Sears anymore.

A recent stealth closing was the Kmart in Omaha, Nebr. They were told last Tuesday morning that they were done. The Omaha local paper printed an article about it, but it wasn't big enough news to attract national attention like a large group closing would. Supposedly there was a store in Texas that announced last week as well.

Wonder when the entire thing implodes? Can’t see how they have stayed in business the past few years since fewer and fewer people are coming in the doors.

Sears 1850 Oxmoor was a real nice store and the newest store in Louisville with a Lands End. Sears store 1790 Jefferson Mall in Louisville was also sold too the mall with a 300,000.00 dollar buyout. The mall wants Sears to move too the closed Macy,s because d---s Sporting Goods wants the Sears location. Eddie will not move that store, it will be on the closing list next.

Yeah it seems like they are shadow closing some places the last few days. Maybe it is because either the info hasn't fully been released yet and they're leaks or that maybe they are stopping the announcements and just doing a few closing at a time.
