LOL, if you can kode but don’t know what networking is, it’s you who should be flipping burgers. This is, and will be, a networking company newbie! My kids in high school can kode, which means nothing to Cisco’s customers!
if u kant kode go to mcd 'n flip buggers
2uew Is correct. The people on my recent projects are inexperienced and fresh from college. It's always an advanced degree from some school nobody ever heard of.
Old dudes who have tons of experience and have gotten the job done extremely well for many years. The "new dudes" they are hiring think they know it all but are, for the most part, completely clueless. The level of service being provided to customers has tremendously declined since these "new dudes" have been in the picture. It appears this will unfortunately continue.
AS is full of old dudes who have been at Cisco for a long long time. They just want to ride the gravy train to retirement.
RH's whole team (except 2 women) were cut in the last Lr reorg
AS will take regular hits going forward as AS-revenue has declined & there is no such a thing called as business development in AS nowadays. VPs/SVPs are clueless & unable to grow the business. So individual contributors will pays the price. But those VPs are now finding increasingly difficult to survive as market transition will take their toll very soon.
Grade 11/12, AS-Technical Leader & Solution Architects are possible targets. Essentially they do the same grade 8 or 10 work with higher salary. It is kind of overall IT trend throughout the industry.
Confirmed, Got some wierd meeting invite next week, then the meeting was cancelled by HR. Meeting title varies: from HR function to leadership training, to a larger set of folks, however, definitely not all- hands due to not all personal are in the meeting invite.
yes, confirmed the tagging piece.
just wonderting what is in store for the personal who did not get the invite? heart ups and downs on these. feel like we are on a market being chosen to be part of unknown team to stand in line.
Reorg announced next week, doesn't happen until November. 3 weeks of a-- kissing, favor calling, musical chairs to follow... Though, really, most people have already been tagged to their new team in the last few weeks, and most will move to report to the 9 months in Cisco, former consulting, curry loving, VP.
