There have already been senior sales ops execs give their 2 weeks notice in SAAS this past week as they jump ship seeing the oracle ship heading for the rocks.

" It got so bad that the latest people, the few they could find, got no severance no matter how long they worked there."

Severance is a bribe for you not to sue.

I guess when the corp gets down to the bottom of the barrel, they aren't worried about lawsuits anymore.

As someone who was just laid off and is also an ex-IBMer. IBM ran out of people to fire. It got so bad that the latest people, the few they could find, got no severance no matter how long they worked there. All to make the numbers look as good as possible.

Oracle has much further to go before they start scraping the bottom of the barrel.

The problem with that strategy is two fold:

1) You need employees to do the work

2) You eventually run out of people for fire (look at HP Enterprise)
