The telephonic division is being decreased. For the past year In all the town hall meetings the discussion has been about in home visits and how CGX 2.0 is going to change things. The reimbursement rates have obviously changed.

LOL - it feels like utc 45 sometimes doesn’t it? For us and the members getting the messages, I’m sure.
I do t think telephonic will be completely phased out....cut back, yes, but not phased out

I have members in eastern and central time zones. They do not like early evening calls but if they become a UTC 45 I have to try them late.
Below poster, it’s possible that the RN who posted that was assigned members from the same time zone. The majority of my assigned members are Eastern time zone and the majority of that group is also the unhappy with calls after 5.
I’m not sure how this is really relevant to the original post, but care msnager’s are not calling 300 million Americans, and they do not choose their assigned members.
I didn't realize 300 million Americans all lives in the Eastern Time Zone.
Yes I agree . HCM RN. My members don't like me to call after five because they are eating their dinner and find that intrusive .
Yes, telephonic will be phased out completely in 2018. However, this industry is cyclical. They will realize the need for it in a few years when members say having associates come to their house is too intrusive.
