I did make an attempt to educate WFT people against this ridiculous plan before it rolled out. As always, there were naysayers and those with stars in their eyes wanting to reach for the next galaxy with only hope in their hearts. I pounded on the financials and outlook, but there are always those who rather 'go with their gut'. That's ok. Everyone is different and everyone has different goals. Meanwhile I purchased much more stable stocks and have done quite well (I mean, really! Have you seen what the market has done since the inauguration of our new President?!) It's difficult NOT to make money...and then there's WFT. (This is not a political post, so please don't flame me for that.) I do wish all remaining WFT people well.
WFT is currently flirting with a break below $3.78 area support and quarterly earnings release at end of month. Employees considering this plan should realize WFT stock has been in a NET downtrend since mid 2014, the company has abysmal financials, and septic management. This could turn around and you will have WFT stock at a bargain price, or the SS WFT could continue to sink and you will be left holding the bag. Guess the real question is has WFT found the bottom or are YOU the bottom. Cheers!
The industry will never be like it once was. The few that are still working better get use to the idea of a pay cut.

WFT never performed during the oil peak time, why would u expect now?? They are drowning in half a dozen billion dollar debts. I have some stocks there but always thought to keep them for the children 👶 haaahaaaa
WFT is a non ethical organization, u should see some new region PLMs, they cannot workout an excel sheet
