Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

i will not support walmart or sam’s whether on line or in store. take my job and i take back my business and put it elsewhere. i have options unfortunately walmart is actually more convenient but i can’t shop them anymore.

I do both. I do clothing and a few things online. But I like to see the groceries I buy. People have always complained about Walmart's pay but people don't have to work there. It seems pretty comparable in my area to Target or Kroger. Not defending but just saying. I am leaving come December 1st don't give a rats a-- about this company. But I will prob still shop at Walmart lol. Target is too expensive and I don't want to pay for a membership. So I'll have to borrow a friends card to shop at Sams once in a blue moon.

Yes, I shop online even though I know the consequences.

It's no different than knowing that Walmart doesn't pay well in stores and shopping there anyhow. Remember back in the day when Walmart leaned on suppliers really hard to cut costs and everyone said it caused the loss of all the factory jobs?

Now it's Amazon causing the loss of all the retail jobs. Folks know it. But they'll still shop online.

That's just how it is.
