I was saddened to see few good people go yesterday, employees are nothing but numbers to management. It does not matter how hard you work, it does not matter how needed you are to Oracle. If you do not belong to the management's circle of friends, you are next on the list.
It does not matter how long you've been at Oracle for or how hard you work, you need to kiss butts to stay off the layoff list.
I agree with the other post on this page, I am getting my resume ready and getting prepared. Employees mean nothing to management, I've seen it happen, your contribution is worthless, they have no problem dropping you just like that. When does this stop?? I do not know but it is happening on regular basis, employees are under too much stress.
