Must really be cutting back on cleaning services
Bathrooms smell, floors around the appliance department have black scuff marks all over the place, floors aren’t shinny like they were just a few months ago! In fact I haven’t seen the cleaning people even run the regular vacuum or even the silent one they use to use.
Giving those customers a WOW experience... NOT⬇️
No joke on the mouse traps! I once had a manager tell me to check the tin cats aka mouse traps while on my daily rounds. I was a floor supervisor at the time.
Yeah, it's been a while since I've seen any vacuum or that big tile cleaner being used. Our upstairs bathroom is okay though, smell-wise. (Can't really speak for the heavier trafficked downstairs one as I rarely use it, but wasn't terrible last time maybe a week or so ago.) However too often we don't have soap upstairs... Or paper towels. It's a good day when we have both. That bathroom most often now is using the $1 soap that was intended to sell...
I went to my old store a few days ago. My manager is still big on keeping the store clean. Our store was always pretty spotless.

Eddie wants u to grab a vacuum and clean whole your doing markdowns, ringing up a line of customers,and putting stock out. It's called on touch. People should multitasking while being paid minimum wage for 4 hours a week. Also while your at it empty the mousetraps and spray for bugs. We can't afford that either.
@coh~ does your store manager do a walk they with the cleaning people? Ours use to until manager left and found a better job. We have a new store manager now (eye roll)

Not my local Sears....yes the carpeting is worn but the bathrooms don't smell, and yes the cleaning lady is there or has been there when I have been in the store.
