I have been hearing rumors from different posts that the PTC Position is going away by the end of January 2018. Is there any truth regarding this subject? When will the company let the PTC’s know that their position is being eliminated?

I am sure if the restructure Ptc we will learn new position

Here is my question. The closest club to our facility is over 50 miles away , although there are about 5 Walmarts within a 15 mile range .
Will one of the Walmart personnel cover our facility??
the latest test is they are sharing PTC's among clubs, similar to HR restructure, and several Clubs comp shopper, if you are not an outlying, your PTC may be covering 2 clubs....
No offense to any PTC's, who are a huge resource, but 1/2 of the stuff they do is busy work for their CM's, AM's or MM's, that need daily update's and reports, but as software develops and more is put on the AM's, the PTC's role will become more about onboarding, attendance tracking, and training.
I've heard mixed things. Some say it's going away. Others say they will have a restructured role with more duties. My PTC is fed up and ready to go anyway. She says bring it on. But it's the speculations about everyone's jobs that is the worst. I went to work for months after hearing rumors and info from remodel crew, new club set up crew, this site, friends at corporate, and more. Then to just get a call of. Well you gotta make a decision by dec 1st to take another full time position. I asked what was available. They said cashier. I said no thanks.
PTC is Personnel/Training Coordinator
The company doesn't care they all got THERE billions $$$$$$ so I wish we could get a class action but carma will never happen to them

When I was part time and they called me in the office to tell me I was losing my insurance. Which I checked to make sure I could keep my insurance before going part time . I had been there 8 or 9 years at that time. I told them the bad thing about it was I heard it on the news before I heard it from the company I worked for. that should have never happened like that. So who know , demos had no notice at all when they are lost their jobs.
Also been hearing that the front end lead may be going as well. It's ashame we have to worry day in day out. I just try and put one foot in front of the other. We cannot change what the company is gonna do! I only wish I hadn't invested 25 years with them. I do feel karma is a b--ch and I hope the company fails miserably. Part time could care less it's a stepping stone for them. They will never get the years of service and people who care like your long term associates.
