So why don't you idiots do something about it? I get so sick to death of everyone talking about how sleazy people are but yet they wait decades to do anything about it or never. So dirtbags like cosby, Weinstein, and your old leader get to keep going because no one cares enough to do anything. Yes, you have to be smart about it, but there are plenty of things you can do.

Don’t even get me started about HR. My working environment was like something out of Anchorman - a load of cishet white middle aged males completely out of control. My boss’ boss (Director) was a sleazebag who letched and hit on pretty much every woman (in the rare moments he wasn’t outside smoking). Super uncomfortable for everyone and not even a secret. I just used to pity anyone who was assigned a desk in between his office and the kitchen area.

So we're often told that we need a better gender balance when there's more men than women. HR on the other hand is nearly all women. Don't hear about that as a problem. Classic "Don't do as I do, do as I say".

Correct. As Obamacare is for everyone except for the clowns who passed it, ethics training is for all us peons, not the uber rich predators.

HR is there to protect the company and senior managers. There's one SVP who received a complaint about retaliation against someone for reporting misconduct.

The HR response was that he treats everyone badly. It didn't occur to them that perhaps his behavior is a problem, particularly because he does it to everyone.

So the next time they have Credo training, remember that's just for the little people.

I went to HR to complain about the cleaning ladies who wear skimpy clothes and look at me funny and laugh and speak in their native tongue. I just know they saying howe hot I am and I'm offended, I'm not a sects object, I'm a phone guy.

My coworker went to BR HR to complain about the wonky gong lady and was shown the door one month later.

Bobby was like that. You see once someone is at that level of position many things are overlooked. Sometimes it gets the the point where things can't be overlooked any longer and then the person in question gets prolonged to a different area. You start to realize everyone associated with that person is no longer in position or has a new title. Verizon is too big to do anything about it. You won't win

People would be floored if they knew how much HR has covered up in Texas. If Verizon launches an internal investigation into the Irving, TX HR team, they would have to take immediate action to clean up what goes on. I believe our President and Retail VP may be part of the coverup. The coverup is massive and Verizon New Jersey either doesn’t care, doesn’t know or is part of the cover up.

I worked as an admin in BR, and in a Go90 meeting, I was told to escort Harvey into the EBC. He tried to pull one of his stunts and grab my derriere. Then he asked if I could massage his crotch. Told my boss and he said I was imagining stuff. Don't work at Vz anymore as they canned me in Sept.

@kcy youre about as cutting edge as Justin bieber. Don't try to interpret me, your diminished well-below-mine IQ won't allow you to.

My comments and obviously purposeful misspelling of Americans were missed by you, and that's sad.

You are truly, an Amerikan joke.

VZW is untouchable...too big a corporation to get nailed for anything. Just a employee at the will of the company.

HR sole purpose is to protect the company. When you have individuals hired from within who have relationships with higher ups or certain managers that run deep you know there is no win for you. I've heard all sorts of claims about situations regarding race, s-x, harassment, religion. Nothing happens. My current director only values women in a strip club setting. Other then that if you aren't in his good old boys club you are out and the HR rep acts clueless

Verizon only follows their so called CREDO when they have too terminate a non manegement employee or lower level maneger, but the higher up's have their own rules, thats how it is,most large companies are the same way..you would have to document everything, emails have a witness, etc and a very good outside lawyer,be be prepared to lose your job,and hope that you win cause vz has big time lawyer's and deep pockets, and also think about when was the last time that you have heared someone winning a case against VZ,think about it

HR's sole purpose is to protect the company not the employee. I would not go to HR for anything. EEOC if you want to file a harassment claim.

Everyone is a bigot, ALL races. We're raised that way from birth. Whites are bigots blacks are bigots... quit acting as though you are all holier than thou, you're just diseased as every other human is diseased. OP you're accusations are definately phony, looking for an easy check. Disgusting, diseased amerikans.

Wireless DM in Dallas called an African-American female ‘hot chocolate’ on a conference call in front of like 10 people. I heard HR interviewed everyone and the Director asked for it to be covered up. Everyone in the district knows the story. Apparently this same DM made fun of some GMs religion in a meeting and HR and the director let it go too. This guy is white so we all know why he got away with it.
