Yep, the new guy is there to walk Molina through the acquisition phase, No Doubt. I went through this with another Medical Group and it is the exact same scenario. Some things don't ever change even after 20 years. I'm sure project nickel was created to pay for the guys salary. Well only thing I can say is I hope he's enjoying my little kitten pittance pay. Best thing for anyone to do is to get out there and start beating those bushes. The quicker you find a job somewhere else, the quicker you may find out who may be purchasing Molina. Who knows it may be your next employer. I still hate that the Molinas and they're loyal workers had to go through all of this. I really enjoyed working there and was hoping to be there for a while. But it is what it is. I was laid off in the September wave and although it was somewhat of a shock, I'm doing just fine. Take my advice, get the hell out while you can because the market is getting kind of saturated and work is getting harder to find.

Do you think you can get a qualified person for less?

He was hired to walk Molina through an acquisition. Come on people. Who cares WHO he is. He's just part of the end of Molina. You don't have to be. Look for a job. Start now. Move on. Molina isn't Molina it's in a transition period and it's transitioning into not existing. The work you will do from here on out is lining the pockets of those who profit from the sale of the members. Don't worry about Molina...worry about your next job.

Because he is more important than all of those rejected Molina employees that were laid off. He is the savior... he is the messiah... he will lead Molina to the promise land. Resistance is futile... you will be assimilated.

He makes what a dozen employees make. Molina laid off 100x that. Yes, it makes sense to me.

Makes no sense to layoff 1500 employees and pay this guy so much. Totally insanity.
