Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

I felt like like some of the themes from the all hands came from this site. I think you need a site like this to collect anonymous feedback and suggestions from employees. You don’t need an engagement survey to get the pulse of the company, you need open and honest feedback from every employee that is willing to share it (anonymously).

The leadership team was cracking jokes during that all hands. I was insulted.

It’s not a time for jokes when we are cutting people loose and getting our butts kicked by competitors. Just look at the stock price!

From the look of the all employees meeting, the C-suite has no interest in hearing dissenting views or alternate opinions. The questions were carefully scripted and the answers well rehearsed. The execs were clearly distracted and bored with the event. With a few exceptions, they all looked like they couldn't wait to get back to planning their new office design or next vacation. As far as they are concerned, they are done with this discussion and with us.

People are too scared for open and honest on here. Senior,executives say they visit this site with their crocodile tears. So hard for them to read the negative comments through their multi million dollar payout lens.
