Thread regarding Sears layoffs

It's an easy way for eddie to get outdated inventory that has been sitting around for years off the books. I remember when our kmart store closed in 2013. We got all the outdated junk from area stores in our district. Mt favorite was the 2 repack boxes filled with Vcr tapes and five boxes of Hannah Montana merchandise. It was always a mystery opening those boxes and also entertaining.

So maybe that's where a bunch of our school uniform stuff went that was supposedly being sent to Texas. Not all, just certain amounts of specific items if we had it. Hell, it was soon after that storm, I almost thought maybe it was to help out after the devastation... :\ Why is a closing store receiving stuff from a store like mine that is doing okay? Weird. (Although we have lots and lots of clearance right now that isn't being sent anywhere.)

I don't vent about anything I speak the truth, I don't post here crying about stuff, I post to stop the cryers.

They send all this merchandise to the stores because they are trying to sell more inventory at the stores that are closing. When stores are liquidating customers tend to buy stuff they would not normally buy, and they buy more.

It makes perfect business sense, why are you complaining.

All I hear on this site is ppl complaining about not selling, then when sears sells merchandise you also complain.

Hopefully, You will sell it all. I thought the same thing when our store closed in March 2017. We sold everything. May God Bless, You and Your associates. Sorry you guys are closing up.

@kxv We are getting hammered with truck its getting ridiculous. We aint going to be able to sell all the truck were getting and we aren't getting enough hours to even keep any type of control. I heard we are getting 2 trucks a week (I don't know if just this week), but its just out of control we can't keep it in control anymore.

New and old the SGM has told us we will continue to get the trucks that were scheduled as well as IST trucks from other sears stores. It's crazy how much we are getting into out store, If i were from corporate i would be happy its working and th public has no clue. Well so they think... but oh well this giant garage sale continues whether we like it or not.

Our Sears store in Michigan, is receiving new product.. so much that there isn’t room within the designated area for product placement.

We have not received pink and green products by truck from other stores, yet.

@mmm are you receiving any new product at all?

Think about this, these clearance items are being shipped out, so the stores sending writes this stuff off so it wont affect there bottom line. Which will help show profit to remaining stores, and thas false, company is again hiding the truth of poir performing stores by sending product thats about to go zero value and effect profit
