My son lives in the Seattle area. Many, many tech jobs up there going begging, so don't wait for the layoffs unless H offers a very, very generous separation package IN WRITING with no weasel words.

Being done quietly, but about a half dozen jobs in Redmond, wa (employee group working mostly on terrain data bases) are being moved to India. Staff have been asked to stay on until around March 2019 to train Indian employees and help with transition but there aren’t really any jobs they can apply for within honeywell and most don’t want to move out of state. So all jobs are going to India with exception of one position, will be transferred to Az, which will “oversee” the india group.

I am an 11 year employee, my job at present time is machining the forged steel and titanium torque tubes for our military. Honeywell is giving away America as we know it. How can they justify sending our military aircraft parts to "ANY" much less contracting it to a region where War and Death is about all those people know. It is OUR TAX DOLLARS that finance the Defense Dept. Yet, they somehow justify their actions by saying they (Turkey) can do it cheaper. If Honeywell's sole intention is to make as much money as possible, then I say kick their asses out of America and ban them from any and all commence inside the United States of America. Honeywell's problem is not their employees, it is the leadership .... where in the hell do they find these people who in my opinion could not run a cool aid stand much less a factory making precision parts for the very deterrents that keeps America Free. They have justified their BS by saying we can't compete. They arrived at this by hiring in people without the proper training and allow those people to operate machines they have never even seen, much less program and make a precision part for our military. For you all at the top making these decisions, you do not even have the God given right to call yourselves Americans ..... pack your sh-- and go to North Korea. By the way where is big mouth Donny Trump? If you love this country and the freedom we share, TWEET, write, call, visit our Government and let your voice be heard. Honeywell can kiss my A--.... If you read the layoff policy on policy.honeywell.com it clearly states they will terminate contractors doing the same job as employees first. In practice I have seeen them do both the contractors and employees the same day. At least if you see the contractors go first you will know which functions will be impacted first
