When will things improve, I am still hearing about layoffs in Charlotte.

My boyfriends mom was just let go today in Portland. She has until Dec.20th. She worked for U.S bank for 32 years. A voicemail in the Office called her to let her know they are laying her off. Along with many others in her department. Not a word from management. Just an otimated recording firing her.
They always come
Wish they would layoff those who ask for it, so the ones that don't want to lose their jobs don't.
