Anybody else thinks that as soon as the new CEO starts, he will announce a round of layoffs? He is promising hefty savings for Mondelez immediately, and we all know what the easiest way to achieve that is. Hopefully I am wrong, but it would be advisable for everybody to be as prepared as you can for something like this.

Wake up! Get your head out of the sand. DSD is coming to an end soon! Q2 is what I've heard. I don't have 100% proof. All I know are the red flags and the direction this company is going. DSD will cease for alot of companies eventually. Unfortunately we're the next one's to exit

Agreed. I'm hearing end of quarter 2 exit. Something's definitely happening. Lots of changes and red flags

I use to work for Mondelez. Was a merchandiser for 8 years. I went into a local Kroger today and the shelf tags for Mondelez/Nabisco product still says DSD in the upper left hand corner. I am in Texas so maybe it is just a regional thing.
Dirk's earning potential his first year will be 55 million and watch, he will indeed announce we are moving away from dsd. Company management claims "they are fully committed to dsd" and we all even saw the announcement by senior management after Keebler announced their exit from dsd last year. Notice all the changes in spite of what they say? Consolidation of depots. The fact Wart some how has a full list of our SKUs already in their system, just awaiting product. Kroger shelf tags no longer reflect dsd and they have been "testing" the automatic replenishment system? First test failed miserably so they try again, need to get it right! It's coming!!! They have been planning for it for years, our dsd contracts are ending! We are not making money, just stripping the company to the bare bones, investors are smarter than that!!!! 9k jobs last year and how many next???? Many many more!
