World wide sales strategy lost around 10
Several impacted in managed services (formerly CMS) last week. Does not appear to be a deep or broad cut this round.
SSO (does engineering for services (AS and TS) had 39 layoffs on October 10, I think they all in US and possibly in San Jose only
I know the Polaris group got affected. 5-6 engineers.
LRs are never done. They are perpetual.
This has been the ‘new reality’ @ Cisco since 2012. It may be time to accept it and adopt a plan. A ‘hope’ is not a plan.
LR to be completed on Oct. 23. If by then you have not been purged out, consider yourself to be amongst the lucky ones. But, the show aint over till the fat lady sings. A new round of layoffs will commence on after Nov. 15 when Q1 earnings are released.
