Speculation is that the next lay off will be November 1st to clear out associates by 60 days before January 1st to avoid having to pay those lump sumps to associates for pay raises.. I wouldn't recommend Humana to my worst enemy.
I've heard this date repeated as a rumor several times. The explanation behind it in the above post makes perfect sense, which gives it some credence.

CCLs in LTIH and coaches in HCCCP today. Meeting for PHCs and HCMSSs tomorrow and many are affected.
