Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel illegal misconducts with current silent layoff miss practices are class action lawsuit begging to happen!

Intel illegal misconducts with current silent layoff miss practices are class action lawsuit begging to happen!

Penalties to Intel Corporation and possibly or likely criminal individual misconducts are at stake for all the damages caused by this. So far, criminals, are probing what they can do and get away with it!

So far, proven data points are:

  • process collusion and misconducts by management: hiding information from the employee about made up reasons for the cut never informing in written or often even no precise verbal form of any reason nor any way to confront any of the made up rationale as this gives sign of open hunting season to all managers to have license to kill any employee they do not like without any consequences back to them

  • HR misconducts: no any written nor any level of meaningful detailed information given and instead there is what seems to be game scenario to probe employee giving just few figures and scare tactics

There is strong basis of illegal planned action based on bullying, misconducts and collusion tactics to avoid fair paying and legal reporting. Intel HR and management are colluding to misrepresent all these layoffs as hidden performance based, which is not only illegal, but insulting above all.

It all strongly smells as quite easy class action lawsuit, which speaks to huge growing in-competencies across Intel including HR and management as prime example here.

Suggestion for all affected to:

  • contact lawyers and start consultations

  • share information here about details of misconducts, good legal resources and lawyers in OR,CA,AZ

Other:

  • most good employees left by themselves although some here in US, like in OR, are affected by upper shady method. Lots of other good employees are hair trigger away from jumping out and the way Intel handles or mishandles situations like this shall define the outcome.

  • even US employment laws in OR, CA and AZ can protect employees and if we spread this information widely on the internet the negative PR together with legal actions and potential class action lawsuit can change Intel behavior

  • last ACT had better packages possibly because Intel did not have dirty Bob the punishment figure and was not that deep in trouble as it is now, so chances it will only get worse

  • Intel founders, who were people of high morale, and who built Intel to be respected for technology achievements as well as fairness and respect, are flipping in their graves for what Intel has become and how low it has come

Whatever the case, we know Intel is some 40K people over headcount. Hopefully, the good ones will realize this is not a career they have entered, but a screwed up, slave driven institution and make the choice to leave themselves. Intel executive and corporate mgmt has no respect for their employees and only use them as pawns to sacrifice when the time is appropriate.

Lawyers wont work for free. I have never seen a lawyer refuse to sue if you pay for services. Your case may be weak depending on circumstances but sueing is always an option.

Lawyers would not take the case, I have tried and failed. Tried 3 lawyers.

Maybe if large number of people try, and approach lawyers not in the area where Intel is located, could result in something

Intel lost many suits in ACT. There are L1 visa holders who were not cut. That is illegal. US people by law has priority.

Don't waste your time if you took any severance and signed paperwork on your way out. It clearly states you cannot sue Intel and I'm sure Intel had the best lawyers to create documents to cover their rearend.

Uh, good luck with any lawsuit. Many have talked and tried, but no lawyers will take up this case. Don't waste your time.

OP, my lawyer briefly touched on this, although focused on my case only, but I'll bring it up next time.

I assume you are already in contact with your lawyer and if class action spawns let me know where can I sign up.

@PNSWiUD-qzz HR wishful thinking or psi-troll

Read about history of employment class action lawsuits to understand that "at will" does not cover collusion, misconducts and other complex types of legal basis that is currently broken by my guess due to incompetence which produces ignorance and shall end up costing Intel and damaged employees dearly. To remind of example of collusion across companies from major high tech companies colluding against fair wages. So, @PNSWiUD-qzz HR you take your chance with "at will" and many of us will take our chance to protect us and all others from cases like this.
