Abby Johnson is running the company into the ground! Fidelity is run top to bottom on a culture of fear and intimidation. They DO NOT PAY branch reps all of their earned production! At least 15-20% of production that is rightfully earned is NEVER PAID! If you complain, you will be fired. What a joke and what a horrible way to treat reps that produce the revenue for the company.

As a 50+ year old, I have seen these rolling layoffs happening for several years. They became larger and more frequent as Abby Johnson tries to show that she can run the business better than Ned. By continuously cutting staff, she makes the short-term bottom line look good while sacrificing future growth.

I took these last 5 years re-inventing myself in the cloud space. I would like to thank Abby for the severance as I double-dip with a new job in the cloud space with a total compensation package of almost $90K above my best year at Fido.

Hey tech workers, adapt (re-invent) or die. Sit back and watch Fido burn as passively index funds and robot-advisors eat those Fido actively managed funds alive as the index funds have been doing for 30 years.

The whole Tribal/Agile/European/Spotify operating model approach is NOT for the grey haired set. The majority of the IT Heads will be under 45 within the next year, if not sooner.

Neff’s had a good run, but he appears desperate now. He’s super old too ;)

Have to think the combine IT groups moved into EI back in Feb./Mar. 2017 will have to shrink as large cost cutting was the primary goal moving Prod Support and Security into centralized teams. Not sure enough attrition has or will occur as most people are waiting for there package (too much to leave on the table if you have years invested). However I was recently told that the management team that made that initial moved have been reassigned as I think most in this group were expecting an Oct. layoff to slim those new combined organization down.

Recently talking with people in those organizations they are all waiting. All mentioned there is no discussions going on si they have no insight what long or short term plans are. I would have to think Neff's job must be in question now since he was the mastermind of this. Someone said Abby can't afford to get rid of him with all his accolades of IT in the Financial world.
