Well, they do have a handset and you have a... mini PC.

Nothing left to say except Get back to work.

Holy crap, are you people incompetent. How is that even possible? Are you all HR guys with liberal arts degrees discussing amongst yourselves?

First modem prototypes are usually roughly the size of a small car.

Second modem prototypes are usually roughly the size of a big suitcase.

Third modem prototypes are usually roughly the size of a desktop PC.

Fourth modem prototypes are usually roughly the size of a cigar box.

None of this has ANYTHING to do with processor technology. If you had any level of technical competence, you would be aware of that.

What the idiot in that tweet is comparing (and what you idiots are falling for) are a pre-production sample and a prototype. It‘s like comparing a tablet to a desktop PC and going „Hurrdurr PC makers so dumb. They make PC so big!“

Seriously people, your BA in Modern Inuit History or Southern Bulgarian Throat Singing or whatever the fack it is you are „good“ at does not qualify you to join this kind of discussion.

Intel modem made in TSMC silicon because silicon technology doesn’t matter, why let TMG make it when TSMC can make it cheaper, faster and lower power too.

Must be the better Qualcomm designers versus them Gumps at Intel

The size of a new modem has no connection to processor scaling. Are you really that clueless about basic technology, or are you really that clueless?

Butt intel is three years ahead in scaling giving it a huge power and integration advantage.

TMG keep on saying it yet where is the two to three year advantage ?

😂

That is why I will never work for Qualcomm. I have never met any Qualcomm employee who wasn't an a-hole. Birds of a feather...
