Despite good technology mix giving potentials to work on interesting projects, Intel has deteriorated over the last decade to now quite low grade in multiple aspects (quality of employees, high technical detachment from hands on and realities producing famously labeled political engineers, broken values promoting manipulation and throwing under the buss yet supporting nepotism, toxic politics with deep structures and incapable equally political HR unable to do anything). Twisting realities (outside called lying) on power points both in technical and management domains is widespread. Intel is not on the most top company lists for new graduates, except in the lists of some websites which are not neutral. Most of the Intel values written on the card, that some employees carry with their badge, are completely broken or not present anymore and HR is incapable of detecting nor remedying it. Collective blindness is widespread, while money from Intel monopoly is still melting, not to go to inside but enough is to mention just how Intel massages outside communication like YoY CPU performance 3-5% and 10nm 3 years late.
So, I'll be leaving Intel before end of this year as it is hard to find healthy branch to lean while outside healthy technology branches are blooming. Time to go to real green pasture.
