Home Services Restructuring

We just heard there is a restructuring going on in Home Services. Given the salaries of the Territory Teams and District Service Managers, I am surprised it took this long for it to happen. At my store, we can't get hold of anyone to help us with customer concerns on service scheduling, save a sale requests, etc. Do you think service will improve with this change? Does anyone in service management still care, or did all of the true service managers leave over the last few years? Anyone in service management on the boards to answer?

I used to be a service manager for home services. What a joke...Sears doesn't care about the customers...unless they buy a home warranty. Quality service was very, very low on the priority list. This was a warranty from a 3rd party company so Sears wouldn't lose even more money. The district and territory managers have all left for other companies. They just hire new ones from within...for obvious reasons. Good luck

Whenever you hear corporate lackeys talk about "Restructuring" it is never a good thing, at least for workers like you and I.

Is this serious?

You're talking as if Sears will actually be around in a few years.

Please tell me you're joking......
