How many?
You're missing the counts for the layoffs at the AUS and BUR sites, as well as smaller groups of employees scattered elsewhere.
Actually according to ARIA, there have been more than 1900 layoffs just in ES org (number of people end of aug - number of people end of oct), almost all from me org. I suspect the total number is closer to 2500 overall if all orgs are considered. That has been really a massive layoff round.
issues
I had two announcements but only one showed up. F you oracle. Glad to be done with you.
Family member part of the 9/1 RIF. Two FedEx packages coming to home address on 10/31. Expect one to be severance agreement, maybe the other to be COBRA agreement? Already got some COBRA info a few days ago via postal mail from Oracle's COBRA contractor (A.G. Sieben).
FedEx packages for those with end dates on once 31st are loaded in. This is from the 9/1 RIF w/Warn.

Are there even 1018 staff remaining in Santa Clara and San Diego??? I thought everyone was gone.
ARE THESE LAYOFFS IN SPARC,SOFTWARE OR HARDWARE?
@PUZKfDQ-ugq is correct
No need to worry
This is why I say little knowledge is very dangerous. These are the 964 + 54 people who were laid off September 1st. But they will be "officially" laid of on 31st October ( note the 2 months WARN period from Sept 1st to Oct 31st). Since officially Oracle is gong to severe connections with these ~1000 employees on Oct 31st, that is why it is notifying government officials.
