In the last 12 months, 90% of share volume trades by management were "sell" rather than "buy", and 1/3 of those sells were in the last 3 months. Are we at some sort of pinnacle?

I have always held Chevron stock, and have bought and sold at different times and have always enjoyed the generous dividend. As many have cited below, of course high prices and 52-week highs particularly initiate sales. First time investing?
I am no longer a Chevron employee but a current shareholder and a financially independent buy and hold investor.
Buy and hold, people. Retire wealthy.
the stock price is the highest it's been in about 3 years. Of course management is going to sell some of their stock options. Sell some, hold onto the rest. Trust me, there's plenty more where that came from!
I doubt it. More like continuing sr. Management retirement and options cashed out for diversification. I hold only a little Chevron stock, it's has been a great investment over the years, but I believe having a lots of different boats float best. Just on the unlikely even I do work for Enron.
Appears that most who should know are getting out while the gettin's good. Could have something to do with all the stock options the high-and-mighties get too. Not sure how that factors into the equation.
