In Nashua I agree that we have no work in the past 2 plus years. Our managers and directors are creating false work along with MDC and executives are buying it.Minor layoffs to meet the numbers but the bigger problem still persists

Having a lot to do and not being recognized is ugh! Then being asked to be understanding of our pathetic raise then Mr Dell bought a penthouse is ughh!! Then seeing that collegue getting awarded for being named the project lead and all those who work to make it a success gets nothing but a thank you not. grrr! Dell management go f--- yourself and die!

No, you are a "slug" for making inappropriate comments on a layoff site about doing nothing for 18 months and getting a raise to boot. Not exactly what people being impacted by WFR's want to hear.
My point was that Dell EMC leadership can't seem to identify where the issues are (people sitting around doing nothing, sales people that can't sell, etc.) and cutting people who are assigned/billable/productive.

We show up everyday hoping to get work, but it doesn't happen. Shouldn't be considered a "slug" for that

I haven't done a thing in two months. It's like being laid off without being laid off.
I might be the odd one out but I actually love my job, the pay is far from good. But hey it is not easy to find something you love to do. And my manager is not good either but the company is popular with keeping certain people for "reasons".
useless managers asking you to work their ancient ways and does approve resources and tools to help you do it.
Applied for several internal openings that are now in hold. Frustrating to say the least.
Hey nothing is ideal on this world. So live to the fullest and enjoy the ride even if it is bumpy sometimes. That being said - Dell offers really really bumpy ride these days.
