Finance, HR have confirmed layoffs and their work is moving down to CR. SMG and TMG are also laying off. PEG and business units to follow. Not only you are in denial, you are in denial about being in denial, which is usually the case. Our dear bean counter CFO Bob already spoke a couple of months ago and said expenses need to come down 20-30% at least.

@1owh No, we just know what companies have to do if there are potential problems in the next quarterly earnings report. Intel didn't do those things, so there are no problems. Not a matter of denial. Just a matter of knowledge.

Was there a profit warning? No.. just a bunch of Qualtrolls and AMDoofuses trying to stir up panic here.

There is no such thing as a hidden layoff. If the number of employees in sites don‘t go down, then there are no layoffs. If you get fired tomorrow for surfing porn at work, then it‘s not a newsworthy layoff.

Since it is not hidden that it is happening in Finance, while in the rest it is hidden. Does that mean that they could not produce number fudging this time?
