Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about layoffs or reorgs in the C&S area? We’ve been getting plenty of messages from our managers about job aids, disciplinary actions and quality audits. More than the usual.

UHG wants to outsource more and use Artificial Intelligence as much as possible. Profits over people.
Delaware lost contract and all employed by community and state in Delaware will be let go 1/2/18
I heard through an HR representative they have lost 3 Comm& State contracts not to mention TRICARE which is the governments employees and that is commercial. Time to look elsewhere.

That's how it started for our area. They asked for resumes under the guise of "new leaders wanted to get to know more about the staff". About a month later, everyone who was not in the MN office was let go and they shifted responsibility to those in MN.
Thanks! I figured changes are imminent - especially after the cryptic email sent last week asking us to verify degrees and job experience. Maybe a reorg coming soon. It's hard to get the info when most WFH.
