Thread regarding Sears layoffs

SHLD stock up 5% today!

SHLD stock is up 5% in very heavy trading. Whirlpool has finally stopped its decline after shedding 13% of its share price and is flat today per Fox business who reports of the “disastrous news” for whirlpool of Sears dumping them.

The shorts who have taken over this board the last few days (since we got a post that appeared positive and possibly from someone at HE) must be p@ssing their pants.

Expect the negative posts to be going up and more fake news to be posted here as the boys who still live in their parents basement can’t figure out why they’re losing again.

I'm not a "short" worked for sears 15 years .... the stock is down more than 14% this week. Luckly I sold all of my company hawked stock at $33 a share before I lost even more of my money. How many employees have been investing over the years and now have nothing ..

Stock opened today at $5.89. Is down to $5.81 right now but might go up a few pennies before the end of the day. I'm posting to show that a 5% gain is meaningless. A $5 OR $6 OR $7 stock? Who cares????

Home Depot is a real stock. Whirlpool is a real stock.

It’s a terrible place to work and I am miserable there—

Ok, cool. Then why don’t you quit? Unemployment is 4%, WTF??? Honestly there are jobs everywhere. You could go to Lowes, Home Depot, Costco, hell I even saw the Post Office is hiring at $17 an hour. Why live this way. Just quit.

I have been told the stock really reflects the value of the property which is still very low , not the retail side of sears, my source is coming from the seeking alpha site , actually go down load this app its eye opening what is out there about this crappy company we still work for. yes it has a lot of facts about this company , with links to go to for proof of what they are posting, not just thoughts or uneducated guesses ... no I don't have anything to do with the site I am an ASM with sears, I check it out daily to find things out on there. because sears sure the heck don't share with us gutter creatures working at the store level. well not totally true I can go on pebble to hear how great everything is doing with the fine company

Oh yay!!! That's great news!!!...

Except that a month ago it was trading at $7.28 a share...and about three months ago it was trading at $9.30 a share...and about a year ago it was $11.17...so yeah, you're a moron if you are celebrating a sh--ty stock only going up 5% when it hasn't even broken the double digit range for over six months and probably never will.

Whirlpool not completely flat. Up by a few cents. SHC is only up by 30 cents today. The % is bigger because the share price is so much lower.

Yep. Sears is now $6.06 a share.

To compare -- Target $62.01. Best Buy $55.95, Home Depot $167.65

Whirlpool $161.51

I'm not an investor. I'm a worker bee and to me, a higher stock price indicates a healthier company.

Sears didn't dump them. Whirlpool would not agree to terms of a new deal. after eddie screwed them in Canada. Spin it!!
