Anybody knows if we'll get more Weatherford layoffs today? Somebody mentioned Huston was next. Any other locations?

It's FRIDAY again. I wounder who is going today? Friday has been the golden hand shake and f--- off day.
October had some major changes and thank f--- they are starting to cull the managers up stairs that do SWEET FA but fill the coffee pot. I can think off about 12 managers who in 5 years have never even gone onto the shop floor. They are useless to any company and should be gone and removed from the WFT dna gene pool. The pool at moment is just swimming with over ego spineless uni or ex scumbags that couldn't even wipe there own a-- if they tired. One manager is so lazy he has have a person bring his lunch to his desk. What a oxygen thief, I would sack him if I had the ability or as we say on the farm, time for a bullet.
In the yard today there 3 people working outside on the tools on there own, sweating it out in oil and dirt as were they are most likely happy, away from the office turds. One contractor who was ex WFT, 1 Fishing hand and 1 Drilling hand. But holy sh-- there is 7 accountants, 10 managers, 2 HSE, 6 office cleaners and 5 transport drivers. How does that make sense?
would suspect the pace of layoffs to pick up so that any severance can be written to this year. Besides, its the Holidays and Weatherford is such a caring and giving company.
Houston: layoff before Thanksgiving and X'mas.
They usually layoff on or around payday.
Is that safety fellow in Lafayette still going fishing all day Fridays?
Weatherford did lay off at the end of the month. There were layoffs this week.
Even Weatherford does not layoff this near the end of the month. Look for first or second week of the month for the standard days they like to target.
Or just set up a mtg request with a bunch of HR folks in your Outlook, when you view the calendar to find the best time just look for areas where the HR folks have a bunch of 30 and 45 min meetings strung together, good chance those are hatchet jobs being conducted.
Spencer road! Tom was pushing the cart around real early this morning. He was a bit winded but getting that cart around the facility at sloth speed.
It's official. There will be layoffs I 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, etc., etc., etc. just do yourself a favor and find a better job.
