Schenectady NY campus had 26 pallets of moving boxes delivered to the campus. Any truth to that?

The 26 pallets were for Thanksgiving charity, we do that every year.

If I was not retired and was currently working at GE in Schenectady 273, personally I would be looking to get out before the layoff that is about to come. I have seen it way to many times! Mangment pushing numbers, treating the union workers with next to nothing for respect. The managers egos push for numbers and not guaranteed quality by the union. I wonder how GE’s customers would like to hear that quality is on the back burner right now in the plant. They just want numbers! Stay Strong 301 and tell your union hall to grow a set! Good Luck!
Maybe that’s why the union lets the company treat the floor like unskilled laborers. They saw the 26 pallets of moving boxes get shipped in. So management is nervously increasing expectations and riding union workers in the plant. I have 2 words for ya all GET PACKING
The moving boxes could be the amount the normally have on hand and to replenish for the ones who were just laid off
Could be fake news or could be true! Really won’t know anything until Nov 13th I garentee massive cuts and plant closings within GE Power, look out upstate ny big changes in the works.
