Must use vacation if you want to stay home and prepare your home and family or are under mandatory evacuation. To all my friends there, stay safe.

The Clearwater site had a mandatory weekend off. They closed the plant Monday and Tuesday. 1st shift on Wednesday had another plant closure day while second shift had to work. Thank you all for your concerns during this time.
Praying for all our Honeywell family in danger of the hurricanes, fires, and earthquakes! Although, I wouldn't be too disappointed if Irma takes out Cote's mansion near Sarasota. Sorry, not sorry.
Looks like Sarasota and Clearwater are directly in the path. Anniston after that. Be safe!
The tell you to use vacacation. But then they tell you "unlimited" vacation is not so unlimited, you only have the same daus you had under the old policy. If you use more than that HR is going to ask you why. At this time is when you see their true colors. They do not care about their employees. They only care about the profits. Very sad.
Lacks empathy and loyalty
-dkl . Thank you and be safe.
Lets be clear, only zone A had an evacuation. They told us to do what we needed to do, that is what counts. Think of all the other businesses in the area like Publix and the gas stations. Those people might want to get things ready too but they are open. Its a business people.
They pulled the same nonsense with Puerto Rico employees. Protect yourself and your families as that can't be replaced.
Come on, give it a rest on the Honeywell rhetoric and taking vacation days is irrelevant . Protect your lives and families as they cannot be replaced.
Do whatever you need to do to protect your family. That is all that matters.
Just use some of that unlimited vacation.
Remember the company spent 5 billion buying back their stock in 2016. Mr Baloney got his millions in stock bonuses in 2016 while we got furloughs and pay freeze. Oh, yeah with all his yearly bonuses in stock he cashed a load early in Aug. Then space gets a RIF now to be more cost effective.
Making us take vacation or work when told to evacuate.
A hurricane is coming Monday and they are not closed yet?
And I'm sure if HD is on site they will make all their shipments on time.
This company is getting embarassing. They layoff and contribute to Harvey victims, with your contribution to match that is, but leave their employees to use their own time during a hurricane. Sad
