We have a more profound problem than Nike and its layoffs. The problem is within my friends. Until we free ourselves from the grip of their game, we are doomed. Prosperity is not about wealth on the outside, it is about growing, valuing what is really important and everlasting. It is time for a great reflection and change... One of our presidents stated it clearly many decades ago. Pay attention and change. Everything will pan out if you change your life. Start with minimalism. What are you working so hard for? That is the most important question you must ask yourself. Mostly is to address basic needs like food, shelter, health, retirement, etc. That is all good. But, why do you buy so much? Why do you borrow so much? Why do you need a bigger house? Why do you buy your kid's love with things instead of deeds? Why do you allow marketing enslave you by wanting things that you really don't need? Is it Nike's fault or your fault? Nike is a machine designed to address your constant craving for more and you are or were part of it. Time to do some value assessment, don't you think?
