Just out of manager's review meeting. Projects will be cut and ppl reallocated or let go. Hiring freeze has started. Replacement reqs still possible. Get your hiring before it is too late.

I've been hearing "layoff" from executives since the 2015 layoff. They talk about managing headcount but proceed to hire above authorized levels....is very much like my wife who is always on the diet to lose weight but we always end up eating the dessert anyway with promise to not have the dessert tomorrow. My point is it is up and down but I think we really need to freeze the hire until the legal issue is fixed. Just my thought.
I have seen lots of meeting with covered glasses, it is either performance review or reduction discussions, or both. My child goes to a gym school and the owner told us that 10 Q families that attend the school got affected last week as they communicated the 30-day cancellation notice. They all got voluntary layoff packages, all of them are not worker bees like me. Really suspicious and I started looking for jobs.
If this is true there is not much we can do about it. Is time to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. I have emergency plan prepared if my family is to be the affected.
How is this known to be true? I hear much gossip but no execution.
