For all of you who will be let go tomorrow, please be advised: The manager giving you the notice is only a messenger. Plans were not asked for any real, advice or input. We were given a list of names. This processs was managed by MHI leaders in the worst possible way. Please direct your thoughts and anger at those leaders and the consultants who,are truly responsible for this catastrophe.

What about the TOC case managers , there are a lot of case managers but we all have very different rolls TOC saves the company money
So who were these MHI leaders? Give names.
Do directors/managers get notified before hand of the staff layoff? or do they get notified the day off the layoff?
I agree. If I survive I'm not going to be as dedicated to Molina due to the lack of consideration of which employees are hard working. I know several people I would have fired years ago, but I suspect they will still have their jobs because none of the people managers seem to have any input in who stays and who goes.
I don't think anyone is blaming the managers. I think what we all feel like we're nothing more than just a number. Being let go from any position can happen at any time but when employees who have been in a company for years or who work their asses off are laid off because some kind of algorithm was used.. that's just not right. We are people with unique qualities who strengthen a team together. This is not a company I want to continue working for- the anxiety, the feeling of being so indispensable, having to look over my shoulder, fearing that when I open my calendar there will be a mistery webex meeting waiting for me. The money is good but our dignities, peace of mind, and self-esteem are worth even more.
Blame BCG. They go into corporations and destroy them under the guise of doing "what's best for the company". They have no desire to understand who has given their heart and sole to the company, who the hardest workers are, who have helped build this company from nothing to where it is today. BCG just doesn't care and MHI is following them like blind sheep. It is a sad day for Molina.
Company wide layoff will happen tomorrow. MHI & IT will be the hardest hit!
I don't know that I'm safe. Either way I'm looking for a new job and will not stay with this organization.
And who are you? How do you know you're safe?
I can confirm the above. I am at the Director level and have had no input into this process despite asking to be included or even providing input. I believe my odds of being let go are pretty high as well. Good luck to all!!!
As a people manager, I agree. I was not included in this process and it will be much of a surprise to me as it will be for those who are impacted. I am not immune to this process and may be impacted as well. Senior leaders have been mum about the ongoing layoffs and although there is a method to this madness, I am sure there will be a few departures that will remain a mystery to many of us. Good luck to all and please continue to be the light in this time of darkness.
