Let me fast forward this a bit for you.
Cerner will come in. They will blow through the budget ceilings and they will slip on schedule, big time.
DoD will get fed up, and they will realize that Cerner low balled them, and that the budget/schedule pipe dream will never come true. By this time they probably hate us more than Cerner, at the point when they part with them, they will hate us with equal intensity.
At that point, DoD will have limited options, they will go to company X, Y and Z and they will end up bringing in Accenture who will give them on-shore rates that show some elements of sanity. DoD will be shocked, will b--ch and moan, will get a little bit of a discount but in the end you'll have ACN in there fixing things and making a 38% margin while everyone else is scratching their heads.
Been around the block for a while now, and the story repeats every single time...
Maybe someone here should as themselves, why do we f--- our workforce so much that we cannot assemble a team that's skilled, well paid and happy any more - yeah, right Ginny, just keep cutting and see where that takes us...
