An external consulting firm made all of these decisions.
They ran a mathematical algorithm that determined which positions were useful and which could be eliminated. It had nothing to do with your qualities or characteristics.
These decisions were made outside of Molina and only then given to Molina to act as messenger to those affected.
Don't believe the hype. MHNM was done by PP and VP by asking AVP who but since she is new (only been here 2 months - hired during this time of layoffs) went to the 2 Directors who made the decisions for HCS. If you were not a favorite you got the email invite.. those 2 Directors are the ones who stayed along with most of their teams..
This isn't just layoffs, it's reorganization. Departments are moving shuffled in the org structure and process improvements are being made. This is not just a thoughtless layoff. Some great people were let go, and that s---s, but poor performers were cut loose more.

Not exactly true. The company came to Molina with numbers of how many positions needed to be laid off ... Molina at the executive level made the decisions on who to let go and who to retain.
In some instances those who were let go FAR outperformed those who were retained, but also made more money. This tells me the company is more concerned about money than they are about their "Mission" that they always talk so proudly about.
That is not entirely true. They did get rid of poor performers.
It's BCG.
I believe it is Deloitte. But, there could be other firms involved as well.
Who is the company? The consulting company. Usually BCG or McKinsey do this kind of stuff.
From where I see it, the company is being packaged up to be sold in the coming year after ousting the molina Brothers and commencing these layoffs. Just trying to look attractive to the many potential buyers who would like to get into this market
So Molina had no choice but to fire everyone on the list? Molina is just the messenger?
