Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

Layoffs Sept 14th

I think we can all know that layoffs will occur on 9/14. However what we have failed to discuss is the significant restructures that will occur. Be prepared for changes in your reporting structure those not impacted by the layoff will still experience an impact. That is very real.

The Marketplace Broker Support Unit lost a lot of good people today, it is such a shock. One employee has been with Molina 11 years, gone. Lost more than 25 coworkers today, and I feel like I am mourning a huge loss. I wish them all the best. :(

To the last commentator who received a call while out sick today - were you let go? If so, what HP/Dept?

I got my call today while I was home ill. I left a 20 year career to go toMolina where, in 8 years, I planned to retire. At first it was a warm and trusting culture. You felt safe in asking questions and learning your job. A couple of months ago it all began to change. Everyone out for their own agenda, no trust etc. so much for "one Molina"

This is so true. If you do make it through wave 2 do you really want to stay? Or does this give you some breathing room to look for a new position outside Molina? Be vigilant in your pursuits.
