Verizon has notified Local 827 that various organizations have a need to reduce force and intend to offer Special EISP. Volunteers will be accepted as necessary to meet business needs. Attached is a comprehensive listing of the surplus declarations.
The Special EISP offers will be distributed to the affected employees beginning on September 18th, 2017. The volunteer period will begin on September 25th, 2017. Volunteers whose applications for Special EISP are accepted will have a last day worked of November 4th, 2017.

Some of these people that post on here are so illiterate and uneducated that I find it hard to believe that they ever got hired by Verizon. The test to get in must've really been dummied down. This is b---s---!! If the @sshole would've checked, he would've known that EVERY time the union/company announce an eisp, they start accepting EXACTLY one week later, then after four weeks, they stop accepting requests...with an off payroll date about two weeks later. But this c@ck s@ckers biggest mistake was the off payroll date of November 1st.....that's a Wednesday!! Off payroll dates are ALWAYS on a Sunday!! The work week runs from Sunday to Saturday....so they would not have an off payroll date on a Wednesday. Go back to violating yourself with your mommies s-x toys.
