Does anyone have any inside knowledge of the next potential closings, I saw on here few days ago of the " urgent conference calls " did anyone else have this call in their sears store ?????

Maybe these stores are the only stores they are keeping for warehouses pick up after they liquidate and go online only
@1szy Perhaps they want the info of the closest competitors so they can blame them instead of their own ineptness as to why the company is going out of business?
My thoughts, if there were other calls who knows why the calls happened .... but with just the few... some of those on the call will be closing for sure
Only 400 stores make money so about 600 still need to close.
@irva it was just one call with a couple Michigan stores and the rest from other districts. Why what are your thoughts?
Were there more calls or just the one that was mentioned with the michigan stores
A couple of stores on that call are already scheduled for closure so if they were actually trying to improve the stores on the call why would they include the ones scheduled for closure?
All underperforming stores, all from different districts, and the questions, sounds to me like these stores are on the fence and a final decision will be made on if they should be in next round of closures. Think about if it was a call to try and help the stores out don't you think they would have a cc within the district held by your DM? The people who held it have never been in your stores and rather than travel to each one just hold a cc so a quick decision can be made. My thoughts anyone else?
