I was offered a job at walmart because my club is closing but I was supposed to fill out career on the wire first but I didn't I got another job at different company instead will I still get the severance pay
Yes you do get severance when your job is eliminated, my manager read the paper she got on these jobs being eliminated. And Walmart just went thru this and they did get a severance package and there was no job they wanted.
I don't know about every club but when positions have been eliminated, they find another position for you within the club. They've been great with that. I've been through a Club closure and the company was beyond helpful in finding associates positions in other Clubs/Stores. And I may be wrong but you don't get severance unless the club closes not if your position is eliminated
Is there a cap on number of years counted. Let's say if I have 20 years, do I get 20 weeks?

What happens with severance if I worked 13 years full time then transferred to another club part time for the last year? Does severance take into account all the years I did work full time?
